This was the people’s verdict in Rajasthan.
Any attempt to establish a government by toppling a government created by the People’s verdict is a direct attack on democracy.
People’s verdict can’t be trampled upon by members of the house just because their personal aspirations are not getting fulfilled.
If any MLA feels that their constituents are suffering due to the work of the current government, then they should resign from their seats and seek re election rather than topple a government of a party on whose election manifesto they too won their seats.
It can not be anyone’s argument that any MLA has won the election on his own steam because the fact that the MLA was a candidate of a particular party can’t be denied and that he went to the people of a particular constituency with the election manifesto as the basis of election for himself and his party.
And this should be applicable to every party. A mid stream change of government is a slap on the face of the voters and their verdict.
